FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
PARKOUR?
– Save time and CREATE A PROFILE before you visit!
– Clean rubber soled shoes. Any shoes will do, but a complete rubber sole will have better grip for parkour!
– Comfortable clothes to move and exercise in
– A refillable water bottle. Stay hydrated!
- – For Classes Parents/Guardians can drop off their child and pick them up after class.
– During Open Gym, we have firm safety rules:
Kids under 7
You need to stay within arm’s reach at all times.
You should be close enough to step in immediately if they’re about to do something risky.
Kids under 13
You must keep them in your direct line of sight the entire time.
The lobby and mezzanine don’t count as “eyes on.”
Exceptions for under-13s being unsupervised in the parkour space:
They’ve completed a Parkour Safe course.
They’ve passed the red band exam.
- If your child has passed Parkour Safe or the red band exam, you’re welcome to wait in the lobby or on the mezzanine during Open Gym — as long as you stay in the building.
- – Our Parkour Classes, Flips Classes, Parkour Fit and Tricking Classes are all very beginner friendly.
- – Some classes noted Yellow+ are only for participants who have passed a yellow band exam.
- – Classes are split up in to groups based on band level. Band exams occur monthly.
- – In Vancouver we have a parking lot behind the building. You can park anywhere here, except for spots that have specific signage. Please obtain a parking pass from the front desk.
