
Alyssa Serpa
Alyssa is a former professional parkour athlete who made a splash in the parkour community between 2014 and 2021. Known for her aggressive and powerful movement style, she was a regular on international podiums in ‘Speed’ and ‘Skill’ events from 2015-2019. Later, she embraced a creative style drawing inspiration from breaking and contemporary dance. She has been described as, “one of the G.O.A.T.s” (Max Henry, author of The Parkour Roadmap and founder of Point A Productions), and “a trailblazer for women in the sport” (Josh Dohy, The Movement podcast).
Alyssa coached at Origins from 2012-2021, and rejoined Origins in 2025. Her coaching style centres on recognising, informing and encouraging students' self-leadership. She’s keen to help new, intermediate, or advanced practitioners to improve their parkour skills, develop training plans, tap into creativity, manage fear, or strategize for speed courses and skill competitions.
